About this policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using Totchi. It applies to all users — parents, carers, and anyone who accesses Totchi. It forms part of our Terms of Service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to this policy.

The Totchi service is operated by Mindset Marvels Ltd, Company No. 16339374.

Permitted uses

  • Accessing audio stories for children within your family, in accordance with your active subscription

  • Creating and managing child profiles for children in your care

  • Downloading stories for offline listening on authorised devices

  • Contacting Totchi support regarding your account or the service

Prohibited conduct

Account and access

  • Creating an account if you are under 18 years of age

  • Sharing account credentials with people outside your immediate family household

  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent subscription restrictions or trial limitations

  • Attempting to access another user’s account or data without authorisation

  • Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to access any part of the service

Content and intellectual property

  • Downloading, copying, reproducing, or distributing Totchi audio content outside the personal offline listening feature

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code from the Totchi app

  • Removing or altering any copyright notices or proprietary markings

  • Using Totchi content for any commercial purpose

Technical and security

  • Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the Totchi platform or infrastructure

  • Attempting to circumvent any access controls or security measures

  • Transmitting malicious software, viruses, or harmful code via any contact or feedback mechanism

  • Taking any action that could unreasonably impair the performance of the service

Unlawful use

  • Using Totchi for any purpose unlawful under the laws of England and Wales or your jurisdiction

  • Using the service to facilitate fraud, impersonation, or deceptive activity

Contact and feedback channels

Where contact forms or support channels are provided, you must not use them to send spam, submit false information, harass or threaten anyone, or submit offensive or harmful content.

Child safety

The safety of children is our highest priority. If you become aware of any content or conduct posing a risk to a child’s safety in connection with Totchi, report it immediately to [email protected].

For concerns about the immediate safety of a child, contact your local authority or emergency services. In the UK, you can also contact the NSPCC helpline on 0808 800 5000 or at nspcc.org.uk.

Consequence of violations

Breaches of this policy may result in a warning, temporary suspension, permanent termination of your account, referral to law enforcement, or legal action to recover losses.

Where your account is terminated for a breach of this policy, we will not support a refund request for any remaining part of your subscription period. All subscription payments are processed by Apple or Google, and refund decisions rest with them — see our Subscription Terms.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email or via the app before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
